Default poopy looking headlights

I'm in the process of retrofitting some HID projectors into my 95 integra and I noticed that my head light lenses look yellow and have spidering cracks across the face of them.. Can you buy just the lenses? or do you have to buy the entire light assembally?

you can only buy the whole assembly...the cheapest solution would be to check ebay or the classifieds

You can try to remove the yellow haze by polishing it. However, the spider cracking can be fixed.

As posted above, you'll have to purchase 2 new assemblies. I've seen them sell in the $100-$150 range for 94-97 headlights.

Junkyard is your best bet. Ebay also has some pimp black housing ones for rather cheap..

try cleaning it with eagle never dull. and if that doesn't work, wet sand it with 1500-200 grit and clear it...

NICE. I'm following the diy on skafia.net I have the regular Hella projectors, did you have alignment problems with yours getting them in straight?

clearcoat headlight covers? no please don't, that will reduce headlight output even more.

my suspension is custom rate GC's on Koni Sports.

no problems putting my projectors in as the mounting flange on the projector mounted directly to the headlight bracket, since the projector's dimensions matched the stock Integra projector dimensions almost exactly.

did you have to use risers? like to set the projector back away from the bracket? Also did you have to cut the original projector houseing off?

well yeah the original projector obviously has to come off, just like what skafia shows...

I did not have to use spacers because as I said, the Hella bi-xenon projectors I used were nearly an exact match for the stock projector, in terms of overall length and lens diameter.

BTW all pics I took during the process can be found in the thread I made back in February, just do a search for threads created by me (not that many over the years) and you'll find it.
