There was a heated debate between myself and Big Phat R in my previous thread about bent valves. So after the thread got locked, guess what someone did? They e-mailed the thread to the service manager where I bought my car. Thanks to whoever did this, now all NYC area ITR owners need to be weary of posting their car # at this board. You never know...it could be someone from one of the Acura dealers that visits this board. Sometimes I think us guys lose track of the fact this is *still* a public board.

It was actually an odd coincendence, but I know they got the thread e-mailed directly to them from a member of this board right around the time the thread got locked.

 

Im Not saying what members are here that are Honda Employees, But I do know that there are alot of Honda Dealer employees and also a few Members from Corporate Honda, I've also heard of some people from Honda Japan Checking out boards Like this.

Still Not cool whoever did it, wether you agree with H Pimp or not, there was no need to go that far.

YD made a good point. Every dealership around here has a "internet salesman" now (well make that every honda, acura, nissan and mazda dealer i've spoken to). In fact, I worked my deal through one of them. They DO read these boards.

I'll agree with that. But there is the basic fact that H Pimp did fug up his own car, and while I wouldn't email the thread to his service manager, I also really can't say that I'd blame the person if they worked for honda. Imagine if you were the mechanic that got assigned that job. You LOST money that week because H-Pimp fucked up his car and had honda cover it. **** honda/acura corp. I could care a less about them, but warranty work SUCKS for a dealer mechanic and h-pimp did make some guy/girl lose money that week.

 

Thats abit like hitting below the belt by telling the dealership on you. I know there is quite a few Honda and Acura employees on this board but why would someone do that unless they disliked you for some reason or unless they got something out of it. Plus someone to do something like that is abit of jerk altogether and if you find out who it is no one should trust him or her as it maybe.

But I would refrain from suspecting people unless you have some true evidence to go by. I know for a fact dealers have people roaming these boards, whteher it be to help sales, etc. I would just not try to blame people unless you knw they really did it. BPR has always seemed like a great guy.

man **** the dealer.. just go to another one.. even though lets say you fugged it up.. thats not the point.. play the "customer is always right game" demand, complain, yell etc.. call for regional manager if you have to.. trust me they will work with you.. but yes if someone e-mail the thread to the dealer thats pretty messed up.. yet again i wouldnt care.. thats none of their concern where you share your thoughts..

anyways, it was where hpimp stated how he got his motor fixed for free although it was b/c of a mis shift.

 

man thats all good! afterall thats why we pay for warranty.. i dont care if it was my fault or if something was just wrong with the car.. either i want it covered by the dealer as long as i have that warranty.. its like your car insurance.. if someone rear ends you or you ram your car into a wall just because you felt it.. insurance pays for it
