small light fuse problem!!! no lights!!! HELP!!!
so far i've been having small stupid problems w/ my car week after week.
well the problem today is:
can anyone give me a wire diagram or something that could tell me everything that is wired or controlled by the small light fuse in the fuse box in the engine bay.
i was getting some food at a drive through then my lights on my gauge cluster went out... no big deal i thought... probably a loose wire. then i noticed my autometer tach light is not on either, and my interior lights were all off, and my tail lights didnt light up but they work when i brake just not when the lights are on, my parking lights and side marker lights dont work. my clock doesnt dim either.
any normal person would check light bulbs nut i doubt that many could go out at once... so i checked my fuses... small light fuse blew... no big deal i replaced it... turned on my lights... 2 sec later pop no working lights again. put in a bigger amp fuse stayed on a lil longer than before then pop.
any one had this problem before. i dont feel like pulling all my light bulbs out and test each one until the fuse blows or doesnt blow but i think thats what i gotta do. but if i need to... i need to know everything that is tied to that fuse.
would the dimmer relay in the fuse box cause the small light fuse to blow all the time if its not working?

what car/year/trim
does your car use a multiplexer? sounds like that could be blown
and if you blow a fuse, replace it, blow it again, and then put in a bigger fuse, without ever finding whats causing them to blow, you're asking for trouble
