it's not different enough IMO. That overall look is so fuggen old and the only "big" change I see is the headlights
I hope those are fake, if not, honda needs to fire it's current design team and hire some people with brains.

I don't know...I just don't think I like the new headlight assembly.
OR
Maybe I'm just pissed still that there wasn't a redesign as planned for '02 with a new body and a Honda V8!!!!

With all due respect....Considering this particular model is nearing the end of it's cycle (read: there are no major mechanical changes--only cosmetic ones), the changes are plenty significant. Not to mention the capital/tooling/R&D investment necessary to develop and produce the parts necessary for oh, what a run of at most a thousand or two parts?
I think the NSX is still gorgeous (not a fan of pop up headlights myself), and the pictures don't do it justice. You need to see this version in real life to really get a sense of scale and appreciate it.

Yeah, the problem is, it's not a new NSX, just a redesigned NSX. Same engine, same overall styling. I do like the new NSX Type R though. I guess you could sort of call that one new since the R version never came out with the bigger displacement motor originally.

geo: like Bob said. That's not new, it's just a factory-forced OEM body kit. Sorry, but that's still just a old *** NSX with a modified body. Doesn't make me want one at all.
Now if they completely redesigned it, then I'd admit it's new. And you're right, they wont sell that many, why would they? Just get a used one and you get the same car sans body kit for much less.

bout time honda got rid of those pop up head lights
No. 28 Grand Am (ex Motorola Cup) Grand Sport Class JComp NSX (number 00001: driven originally at the Canadian GP by Ayrton Senna during the display lap) driven by John Sherk (Honda Canada) and Pit Crewed by my friends Randy (Erin Mills Acura), Ron (Ready Honda), and crew chief Walter (Acura/Honda District Manager) .

Nothing beats the original shape of a classic IMHO. Pop up lights or not.
I definitely would not turn down a used one if I could afford it and the maintenance.
Now for all you guys saying the new one is ugly: yeah like you would not get one if you could....
That new one looks like it got a silicone breast implant and some liposuction....let's hope it gets a 400 hp VTEC V8 and some serious cornering G's to outrun the Viper GTS , Vette C5Rs, Mustangs, Porsche 911 Turbos, and BMW M5.
