Default Blank button...what is it?

The blank button to the right of the shifter, opposite the hazard button...what is it?
I found this pic from the Honda UK site:

http://www.honda.co.uk/newcars...5.jpg

It looks like a cigarette lighter...any reason why it was skipped for the usdm?

that an optional power outlet. Some cars have it, some cars do not. Many people put a start engine button in that location.

In the linked picture above, it looks like the CTR does not have side-mirror speakers.

Wouldn't that drain the crap out of your garage door opener battery?

The opener is only acitvated when you press the button, so it wouldn't drain any faster than normal....

correct, the button is what technicians call a "momentary switch"...it does exacly what the normal button does.

You could re-route the wiring on the garage-door opener switch to this button, but I wanted to show a way to do this without causing any permanent harm to the opener.

There are some clever folks at clubrsx who've made it so when you flicker your brights, your activating your opener, too. I like that, but I had to do something with that blank spot!

you could always rig the power for the garage door opener to hook into your car battery
