Default camping in the civic

I know this is an unusual question, but back when i would lay my rear seats down, i'd think "wow there's a lot of floor space here, i wonder if i could laydown comfortably and sleep in here if i wanted to" And it got me thinking. Any of you guys with gutted cars ever slept on the floor? Say if you didn't have any seats except the driver's seat, you'd have loads of floor space, have any of you guys ever shacked up with your girls in these things? Who knows, i'm just curious.

well i dont know about shacking up but acouple of summers ago i went camping. i didnt want to go into the tent. so i just made a bed by folding down the back seats and pushing the front passenger side all the way. it laid pretty flat but need a mat to level it out. but yeah it wasnt bad. o yeah this was done with a ek hatch. so yeah try it out at home first to see if you like it haha.

im 6 3 and 20- lbs and it wasnt really such a big hassle. She seemed to enjoy it? As far as actually sleeping in the car goes, she can do it, I cant unless Ive got my legs on the passenger side with a pillow between the seat and seatbeat area.

Oh and I have a full interior.

watch out, you can thrash and brake ****. Its not too bad, specially when your a lil drunk, or a lot drunk. Then you realize, you can buy a used Ford E150 for like 700$, and its got room for a whole big lesbian orgy in the back, with the front seat quite spacious for the camera man....just a thought.

The Civic hatch is great if you're in the passenger seat.

Worst car ever: 1976 Mini 1000. Try eating a girl out jammed into the (SMALL) footwell. I'm still bitter towards my ex...

i feel your pain man, my girl (in the photo to the left) was in the mood one night in my del sol....well, there is no room in a del sol unless i sit in the passenger seat and she gets on top, and does some crazy contortionist ****, which didnt happen
we ended up goin to her house and couldnt do anything b/c her bed is small as **** and her parents were in the living room (at 2 in the morning!!!)...so better for your civic than my del sol

I've shagged in my old hatch, but it was only in the passenger seat, I didn't have back seats in it, so it was kinda hard to do that (I had an air tank and compressor back there, but I have had someone sit in the back seat and straddled the air tank). It was kinda hard to do, but it worked...HOTTTTT tho.

me and my friends just set up a tent next to our car in the mall parking lot and just slept there. when u sleep in the hatch, its not relaxing. u shruggle from time to time , then when u wake up, ur either dizzy or crap up.

wow, i can't believe that i got this much of a reponse to this topic. I'm 6'4" and 200ish lbs and the only thing that's ever worked is when i didn't have my back seats in my em1 and i was able to lean the seats WAYYY back. But then again, huge racing bolsters don't really help out much when things are heating up. BWHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
