New best 1/4 time!
Well, after the instalation of my JDM final drive, ACT Clutch, TODA flywheel, UR crank pully, and C's short shifter i wanted to see if the car was really quicker or just felt quicker so i took her to the drag strip this weekend. My best run of the day was a 14.4 @ 97mph. Ran 14.5 @ 96mph consistantly all day. Pretty happy with these new mods, car definatly pulls harder. These times were acheived at over 4,000 feet above sea level on 90 octane gas(the highest available octane here). What do you guys think i would run in the 1/4 at sea level??
damn good times for 4000ft above sea level
is your car stock besides clutch/pulley/flywheel ?... i would think you will be running high 13s with good launches at sea level.

Maybe. But at this evevation and low octane fuel, i don't think i could have done too much better. The Temperature was only in the high 50's to low 60's so if it was a little warmer i might have hooked up a little better, even so i was still running 2.1 60 foot times. There were about a dozen or so mustangs at the strip and they were all running any where from 14.8 to 15.5. I raced a newer Z28 that had an intake and exhaust that ran 14.3@101. My friends supercharged Impala SS ran a 14.3@94mph, a girlfriend of mine ran a 14.2@99mph in her GSR with a 75 shot of NOS, and another friend of mine managed to run a 14.7 in his 2001 mustang. I am sure that elevation plays a big role in the times that you run because all of these cars are capable of running quicker times IMOA.
