**** that, this is bad info.
The Si engine harness won't plug into the DPFI cabin plugs. Do you really feel like redoing the entire wiring harness? I thought not. Just use your DX harness on the B16A engine. Do it out of the car, and have the harness attached to the engine before you drop it in, so you know all the correct lengths for the wires and everything. For the VTEC, Knock sensor, distributor and injector wiring use some trailer harness connectors and run them through the firewall so that you can disconnect the wiring harness without cutting wires, if need be.

In other words use your DX harness, do the conversion to mpfi (pretty easy, its been covered on this site many times, do a search), then add the necessary wires for vtec.
No need to change the whole interior harness.
No need to change the whole interior harness.
Keep the dx harness, change it to mpfi. I believe the injectors on the obd1 b16 are saturated so you don't need an injector box. Then all you have to do is run your vtec, vtec oil pressure, and make the obd1 distributor work with your harness. IT's easy, i've done two h22's in 4th gens and had to do the same thing.
