Pics of Gunmetal Rota Slipstreams On ITR
Hey, Does anyone have a pic of the gunmetal Rota Rlipstreams on a black ITR or any Integra. I really like the look of the gunmetal Regamaters but I really dont have the cash for them right now. I know many people dont like the Rota's, but im gonna get them cuz they are light, good quality, and cheap. I have seen pics of the wheels alone, but would like to see what they really look like on a car or in good light and normal atmosphere. Do they look the same as the gunmetal Regamaters or are they a different kinda color. Also, how are the Bridgestone Re730 tires, i was gonna get them on my new wheels in 205/50/15. Thanks alot to who can help me. Peace
Thier gunmetal is a totally different shade than any other gunmetal I've seen. I went with flat black and they have just arrived, but have not yet been mounted. ereat for the price though
The gun metallic Slipstreams (or any gun metallic Rota wheels) are quite dark. They do take on slightly different appearances depending on the lighting, and the also seem to have a hint of bronze in them. I think the most accurate picture I've seen of them so far on H-T is the first picture of the Civic in this link. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=81991&page=2 I'm really happy with the color and the wheels
SpecR0123- Do you have the gunmetal ones? I sorta like them, I just dont know if I should go for flat black or the gunmetal. Do you have any pics of them on your car. Where in NJ you from? peace
It is pretty interesting how they take on a different color in different lighting...do the bronze act the same? Here, see if you guys can guess these colors (think of it as a game...and which you would put on a black EK hatch):

Big - Yes, I just got them installed last weekend and I'm really pleased with them. If I don't forget, I'll try to take some pics this weekend once I get my Kyokugens on (the lugs I have on now don't look good at all). Most of the time I'm in the Trenton area at school but I live north by Hackensack.
Is the one wheel on the right in the second pic bronze? Geeezzzz....I wish I could just get two good pictures and decide between bronze and gunmetal so I don't have to keep asking this gay question. Please guys, help me out.

If in that 2nd pic, the wheel to the right is the gunmetal color, I think it looks good. I still need to see it on a car. Im that kinda guy who really needs to know sure how it looks before i go buy them. I have a black GSR, I dont know if i want the flat black look, or the glossier look.
WOW! Really nice pics...I can definitely tell more about what the color looks like because you took pictures in different lighting. Thanks
EDIT: How is the finish holding up?

As far as finish, they haven't even found any rubber yet. They'll be getting some Kumho R compounds soon, but won't see any action until spring.
Or you mean fake Spoons??
My car is faster with them than with the spoons

Okay, it is definitely between flat black and gunmetal for my black EK hatch. As far as the cosmetics of my car: it's black, CTR headlights, and red Sparco seats. If it were your car what would it be?
Any idea when a flat black Slipstream will be released? 15x6 correct offset to fit a ITR.
Do the current 5 bolt 15" gunmetal (bronze looking) Slipstreams fit the ITR without any problems?

Mine came with caps, but I like the look without them better. Plus they add weight
As for the flat black Slips in 5x114.3, the places I contacted when I bought mine said that they were already available.

Just FYI (you may already know): only the gunmetal are availible in 5 lug.

Actually, I have a set of 5 lug black ones on my Type R right now. I think the first shipment of 5 lugs were only available in black.
