My mom checked he oil in her 2000 civic and notcied it was a lil low and put about a tbsp of ATF, Question is do you think I should flush out her oil or let it go, I never heard of this happening or of anybody putting anything in the crankcase but oil!

 

u should be fine dont worry about it at work i see ppl use there oil containers that had hella atf in it and just put regular oil in and put the oil in the car i asked if thats ok they said its fine this is at GM

its actually used by some people from time to time as a motor flush. but they usually throw a qt in for a few miles before an oil change. she will be fine.

you could put a tbsp of hair gel in your engine and you would be fine.
