somebody took my license plate! ****** thieves! Anyone know if there is a charge to pay to get replacement plates?

 

yea like $9.00. i hope they get caught using it. thats a HUGE fine

 

either that or i hope someone didnt stick it on another integra that looks like urs and run reds w/ cameras and ****

Once you get a new plate and report the old one stolen, if red light cameras or anything/anyone else picks it up, the user will be in deep crap.

they are probaby just stealing it for your tags.. thats why u cut that **** up with a razorblade

the reason that happeded because people get like 50-75 bucks on the street for tags or so iv heard

 

cops take this very seriously! My old neighbor had a integra license plate reading "v8srslo" ....apparently, some one stole his rear plate with his tags...word got around and he ended up finding out who had it. Who went to the police and the police said its a federal offense or something like that! I just remember my friend saying that they were in deep chit! Good luck finding/seeing your plates around

I do have another arizona license plate from my previous car if you want to buy it

 

Well they coulda switched your plates with person A's plates and could be using person A's plates. Hoping person A will see plates on his viehical and doesnt check if they are his correct plates every moring. So it will buy them some time to use their own car to shoot up the block.

gotta be the haoles that come up with that kine stuff.

 

from what I remember if your plate get's stolen they cancel it and re-issue a new one to you.. If you have personalized plates does this mean you lose them? As you can see from my avitar, I just got new plates.

BTW, I'm going to pop rivit my plate onto a piece of stainless, then I'm going to pop, rivit the plate to my bumper so if they want to steel it they will just bend it up and they can't cut the corner out to steel the sticker.

 

what some people did for clear corners which can work here to prevent thievery...is get a glue gun, hit up the stick and glue the head of the bolt htat holds the plate in place...sure tehy can steal it by ripping it out ...but it'll be harder than just unscrewing 2-4 bolts

in la plates get stolen alot for the registration, mine were stolen a couple yrs ago and the dmv gave me two new ones..i think it cost like 12$, but u have to wait in the crappy dmv lines forever...

 

dont worry, nothing bad will happen to you, just report it, good luck man

 

haha thanks to everyone who mentioned registration; i read it and realized my reg was due last month - i've been driving with an expired reg for a month!
