What kind of compression are you running?

Toda A's are a good cam for the compression you are running. They will make good power with stock compression, and 11.5:1 is probably there sweet spot compression wise. They are good cams for the everyday car with occasional trips to track on the weekends. The powerband they produce in the right engine package is also bigger and not as peaky as Jun's.

Toda A would be a good choice...let me know if you want to install...I'll show you how to install them...without the worry of someone f-ing up your car.

I would like an answer to this question as well! I am building an LS/VTEC and will be in the 12.0:1 to 12.5:1 CR range and cannot decide on cams!

Toda C's or Jun III

Jun has more duration, but the toda C's have more lift! Give me some info please!

I haven´t had any experience with Toda but I love my JUN III, they are just plain awsome. I did a search a few months ago about this subject and most people pointed me towards the JUN III. I did and I´m loving it.

Some guys are getting ~190 whp with stock cams, custom header/exhaust, and stand-alone tuning. Since all of these will enhance your future cam choice, may want to look at those aspects first.....but you know that right.

I use Toda A's on my daily driver and I love them. They make good power, and I dont have to worry about upgrading my valvetrain just yet to go along with them. Toda = in my book.

I drive Toda B's, people said you have to tune the **** out of them or you have a lumpy idle, but I dropped them in with toda valve springs and have had a smooth idle with the cams zeroed out and with no fuel tuning except a mugen spec chip. but of course this is a case by case situation I guess.

In my opinion, both are great cams with proven power so you can´t go wrong with either. Don´t try to find out which one makes 1-2 HP more than the other because it will be a no ending search, both will make you smile alot.

True dat

Some are Jun fans (no not Bruce Lee Jun Fan), Some are Toda fans. I feel there's better support for Toda, and I've found more info on Toda stuff so I go with them. But basically, you're going to find raves about both products, and horror stories on both too. Jun cams break, Todas break. Most of the time it's installer error. (I broke a Toda B before. Wasnt too happy, but I didn't blame the manufacturer, I blamed myself for relying on a AMpro torque wrench.) Anyways I digress, good luck on your selection!

I havent been to the dyno yet, so i have no real exact figures. I'm running stock 10.4:1 compression, tuned with hondata s200. The idle is just like stock, it's very very nice.

Have you decided on what octane fuel to run yet with that compression? Can't go wrong with either Jun or Toda just make sure you are comparing apples to apples and not apples to oranges (i.e. Jun 1's vs. Toda C's and vice versa).

Here is a dyno sheet.

Toda A's vs Jun 3's on the SAME motor. The JUN's made more power, but look at the midrange that the Toda's pull over the JUN's. ITs sick. SOOOOO Much more useable power.

Thanx! You are right the Todas give you more usable power throughout the Powerband and more torque as well! However you said those were the Toda A's; what about Toda C's?
