car stuttering...sputtering...fuel prob?
well my b18 has been running really rough....ever since i put the fuel press regulator on last week. i set the gauge and drove it...it was ok, but once in a while it studdered and was acting like it wasnt getting much gas...or had a lack of back pressure
i put the stock fuel press reg back on...same effects. all plug wires were firing fine. then this am i changed my plugs i pulled the plug wires out..and there was this sorta slugde on one (only a little)...and rust colored dust on another (on the plug wire base). then i pulled the plugs out...and it was wet...not oil...didnt smell like gas. but was wet. so i tried to dry out in the plug wire shafts and replaced the plugs. reset the ecu and it ran fine. no stutter or sputter. so i got in and drove it down the road. first gear fine, second gear...started doing it agin..third and so on.
so i left it...my pop told me to change the fuel filter and get some gasoline water treatment.... he says he thinks it sounds like a little water in the fuel....any ideas??!?!
please help....

i had the same problem with my GSR swap. More than likely you had water down in the spark plugs, either from washing the motor or if it has been sitting a while condensation will build up. Go and buy new spark plugs and wires, and it should fix the problem. Fuel filter is probably fine, just fill up on some good gas.
