Default b18c5 head in my 2k1 gsr

i'm getting this b18c5 head out of a rear end wrecked Tiper. I know i need the ECU. do i need the intake manifold and thottle body? I appreciate your help.

you'll need the manifold for sure, its worth getting the tb as well. wihile its out maybe you can get the inside runners polished. take advantage while its all out. maybe even get the head ported too, the factory does a mild polish job.

i would take everything from the head up and try to get the pistons
and tranny

That head is going to lower the compression in your GSR motor. Just FYI.

yes inded on the ECU, get the ECU so you can get that chipped!
nice upgrade, very nice!
and yah I agree that the ITR IM and TB are a must with the ITR head.

dont worry about compression, you can remedy that later.
you could swap in adjustable camgears at this time too.
'I think Mike K in the ITR forum did a camshaft comparison, and found that the addition of ONE of the JUN stage 2 cams, (intake only I think) was a huge jump in power across the board. now is a good time for buying that one cam for $450 or whatever it costs, and sell your ITR intake cam for $200.
