car extreme lag at 6600 rpms jsut now.. Help
hey i just installed a vafc 2 and a n autometer A/f gauge recently and i just wanted to go for a nice drive, and punch it in second/third gear... well I DID and at 6600 rpms the car just (100 throttle) the car pretty much just stopped goin.... it was Weird as **** but im pretty sure it wasn't a detenation ( sp) becase iwa swatching my a/f guage and it was just on Rich as always( when full)....
after i just coasted, put it in 5th then just drove... after i had to stop, and it was driving PERFECTLY.... what was the problem
anyone know?

im not sure if its good that i drive that hhigh until li get this situated

its been drviing perfectlly so thats whay i think its my ecu.. is there any way to diagnose this problem.. specificially... ex: The pressure signal in my ecu, is not connected" or something of that means.. or do i have to go into my ecu and check my 20 connections or so?

fuel filter would not cause it to bog to **** at 6K then be fine at low RPMs. Do you have any Check Engine Lights? (CEL's)

Shrug...a clogged fuel filter can cause lag due to that the amount of fuel required to go through the filter is stopped by the gunk inside.
