I'm looking for a guide on how to swap the JDM B16A motor into a 96-98 Civic DX hatchback. I've tried searching for this information, but unable to find it. Does anyone know if there's a complete guide for swapping this motor? I'd like to know what I'm going up against.

Additional questions include:

1. Should I be looking at the B16A SiRII for this swap?
-I've seen places that sell the B16A2 and B16A3 motor, what's the difference?

2. Places that offer a 'complete swap' typically include the following:

Engine (Complete head & block)
- Intake manifold
- Exhaust manifold
- Harness (cut in 1/2 at the firewall)
- Distributor
- Alternator
- Vtec solenoid
Transmission (Hydro)
ECU

Is this all I need?

3. Additional parts - Do I need to buy any additional parts for the swap? (ex. new exhaust or shift linkage?)

4. Motor mounts - Do I need to replace/modify the motor mounts?

5. Where to buy - Anyone have any experiences to share about buying a motor online? (good or bad)
-Looking for some recommendations for a place to order from that has a good reputation.

a lot of places include the shift linkage... I know hmotorsonline.com does... Ive heard theyre good, so check them out.
