I got the TRM today, and it came with a bottle of some white liquid. What is this used for?

The white liquid will get you high if you sniff it.

 

is the trm stainless steel? it might be for cleaning it.

 

Everyone tells me its anti-seize for the bolts...thats what I used it for.

 

my Apexi N1 catback came with stainless steel polish.. it was in a little tube, its a white gooey liquid.

I hope you didnt stainless steel polish your bolts instead of anti-sieze them, DOH

 

Speaking of the stainless steel cleaner, the one that came with my header and exhaust don't really work. They don't really give you detailed directions either. It's just like "here. buff it on." I wanna get my header looking good again.

 

I think that stuff is to be used after the installation but before startup to remove any oils you have gotten on the exhaust or header because if there is oil on there when you start it up it makes blue spots on the metal.

its not a cleaner, it is a polish.

like a wax of sorts I guess. you have to clean the stainless steel first, then polish it.

 

its polish i used to have the trm and i know for a fact its a polish for the muffler
