CEL code 80
well after using sea foam my CEL came on and read code 80, it seemed to be 81 though but there is no 81, so it has to be 80, which is the EGR valve, so i was wondering if anyone else had this problem afte rusing sea foam and if i need to replace the EGR valve
my sisters accord has the same problem and the mechanic said not to worry about it, and that it also costs $500CAN to replace it, what should i do?
EDIT
so after searching i found out my car does not have an EGR valve, and code 80 is Exhuast Gas Recirculation insufficient flow detected, so why would it throw a EGR valve code if i do not have one?
