Default Best Ways to Clean a Motor

I'm getting my new motor later this week, anyone have some good methods to clean the block, and make it bling!

Get some engine degreaser, cover your distributors, any electronic part with tape and a plastic bag, turn off eninge, spray it with degreaser, let it sit for 10-15 minutes, thouroughly rinse off with water, start engine and let it run for a little bit. Then get hot paint in clear. (made for engines or parts that get very hot), and spray a couple coats of that on there, makes it real shiny and new looking. The more coats, the shinier, the less, the more matte, new like finish. My dads 91 accord has that done to it and looks new. easy and cheap. hope this helps.
