need help on vtec head swap asap

Default need help on vtec head swap asap

ok i know this is the civic form but i need help i did vtec head swap on my 92 accord and put 95 vtec head on witch is almost the same as the mini me swap and on the post that tells me how to do it it dose not say if i need to take of the oil plug on the block for the vtec sileoid my qes. is do i have to take off the oil plug or will i have good oil pressure to the vtec silenoid please help i know it's different but any help will do thanks

take the oil jet out by turning a screw in it and pulling it out with pliers or you wont have vtec

on d series vtec head already got that jet on the head, but non vtec one doesn't it's on the block. If you don't take it out you won't get enough pressure.\

I would consult accord forum because most of us don't mess with accords.

hes talking about the oil jet on the block in between cylinders 2 and 3 not the head...im not so sure if everythings exactly the same on an f22 but i would assume you do the same as d series...
