First of all, the S2k is RWD. To put it in your crx would require an immense amount of fabriction, which given your questions, I am assuming you don't have the skills to do.

In other words: Stop dreaming.

A gsr motor in a rex would still pull real good, anyway.

By the time you're finished with it, you would've spent enough money to actually buy an S2000--the whole car!

Just go with a B-series motor. You're only 16, so I'm sure you don't have $$ to fund a project like this.

get the b18 swap and set it up properly. sure you won't be able to 'drift', but you'll still have a nice set up when all this drift craze dies out.

however, if you still want a drift car sell your CRX and buy an '89 240SX. seriously though, learn to drive well before you start 'drifting'. you could really end up hurting someone or yourself if you don't have exacting control over your car.

You'll be 50 by the time you finish converting your crx to rwd.

It'd probably be easier to put a FWD motor in the back of the rex.

Sweet! A drift team! How do I join?

Quick jump off the bandwagon!

You can put an S2000 motor in a CRX in about 5 minutes with some friends.

f20c makes no sense and is RACE ONLY not for the common folk...a better idea is a k20 which is still hards but can be done as we have seen already

Maybe this kid and that kid in the "240 vs. S2k " thread would be good friends?

Thats what I was thinking.

A rear drive CRX isn't really a new thing, but it's normally done as a rear-engine.

I'm pretty sure it has been done before. But, it was a drag only car.

I think it's stupid even if you have the money.

The only way your going to put an S2K motor into a rex in a couple of days is in the rear.... and by that I mean you can put it in the rear hatch and show it off to people as it drips oil on your carpet because it sure as hell won't be hooked up to anything.

Give me a spare F20. I'll have it in the back of a rex in 5 minutes.

But... like you said, it won't be attached to anything. I could tie some rope to it and to the car to stand it upright. Then I can be like "zoom zoom, I rev to 9k."
