new to the forum, got a quick question...
Like the topic states, I'm new to the forum and I have a question, I tried searching for the answer on this board but i couldnt find one. I'm looking into purchasing a locally owned ITR but the batch number plate thats supposed to be on the arm rest is not there. I think they replaced the armrest. But my question is, how can i tell the batch number of the car with out that plate? Where else on the car should it be located? Is the number in the VIN?

the reason you cant find it in a search is prolly because all the newbies like yourself, come in here, spam the exact question, under an equally useless subject line. Hence, no hits.
in short, you cant find the number, ever. even if you gave the CEO of Honda USA a blow job.

eh don't mind that guy, he's just a very angry and bitter man
the batch number plate you're referring to is one of a kind and honda doens't offer replacements. I would imagine it to be nearly impossible to find out what the actual model number is of the one you're looking at.
you could maybe try going to acura/honda to see if they could somehow look up the vin for that info, but im thinking its highly unlikely...
