Bending Shield's in JDM OEM HID Front
Anyone ever bend the shields inside of the OEM HID front end? Maybe to do it since the lights are designed for RHD, and doing so will cut down some of the glare without having to point the lights so low.
Wouldn't you have to bake open the headlight or whatever to even get to the shield? I don't think that's something I'd be comfortable doing. I'd worry to ruin an expensive HID headlight.
You can kind of get an idea of what it'd do by getting an envelope or piece of paper, and putting it over the light when turned on halfway over the projector. The cut off line will be very blue. Much more than if you didn't shield the light.
So it'd flicker way more and be more "bling" I guess also.
