what you really talking bout?

are you bidding on an ebay item, and you want to rev higher?

then upgrade valvetrain will be helpful yes, but dont have to be skunk2

each company has thier limitations

Also try to do a search next time. You'll find enough info on this type of thing to keep you busy for hours. Upgrading your valvetrain to stiffer springs will allow a higher redline.

ya you'll rev higher

but unless you build more power into the higher rev limit there isn't any point to it

i'm assuming that your looking to rev higher on stock cams..

if you do you retainers and springs you might as well do cams even if there mild

you can rev higher, But if your using stock cams wouldn't see any results you should get a set of cams tho since you going to change the valve springs and retainers like Skunk2 stage1 or ctr or itr cams. Anything more agressive you would neen to also change the valves.

Good luck
