center console...... seached already

Default center console...... seached already

i've put this in the integ forum but no one seems to kno or they just dont care..... i bought a 94-01 integ center console.... but it came without the shift boot bracket.... i can't tell u the real year because i'm not sure.... yeah i kno... stupid me... but w/e.... so it came with out the bracket.... and i decided to get another bracket.... when i went to try and fit it.... it seems as if its too short.... it doesn't reach the screw holes.... i'm trying to figure this out and i dont want to drill two holes to make it fit..... maybe someone here can help me out

That metal piece that holds the shift boot? You can use any bracket from a 94-01 Teg 5-speed console.

apparently not.... because i do have a bracket that i recieved from a buddy that had an extra one...... and it didn't fall into place..... i am under the impression that the teg console... no matter if its auto or manual are the same..... am i wrong in this.... i'm sure i read it somewhere..... here's a pic of a console..... http://vidar3.tripod.com/integra/IM000602.jpg

The console itself is the same, but why would the auto console have a shift boot bracket?
