i dont know how they could include these cars here, for a comparo...and not have the s2k in there. i mean, the 350z...i wouldn't even consider a roadster. the shiet is horribly ugly, and is really just a coupe that they made into a convertible to appeal to even MORE women.

 

car and driver did the same test with the s2k. the s2000 won and i believe motortrend has never liked the s2000 for some odd reason. bias sucks

 

Screw what the mags think. S2000 is a bad car.

 

all of these cars are beneath it so far far that motor trend is tired of losing big ad bucks that porsche pays when it keeps getting owned

who cares what MT thinks anyway there a bunch of fat *** monkey boys who get stoked over a 15.1 that they ran in the last s2K test

 

we don't need magazines to remind us of how great our cars are...we already know, that is why we own them.

for some reason, MT has always disliked the S. Only one article by C. Van Tune was even remotely flattering way back in the day

i think MT is secretly run by *****. it would explain why they cream their pants everytime a german car gets a 5 hp bump.

It's a bad comparo to begin with. The cars are more competitors to the reg. Boxster, not the Boxster S. And the 350z looks more out of place there than I do at the Korean grocery store. The s2k would get second to the Boxster S (maybe first, depends on who's driving) if they had added it in as far as track time, and dead last as far as streetability.

 

how bout the new boxster w/ 280 hp...very wild. base coming w/ a 240 hp motor

 

I'm getting excited about the Boxster coupe that was spied a few months back. Maybe if enough competitors offer coupe models (Audi TT, 350z, M coupe for a while there, and now the Boxster ~06) the S2k will get coupified.

 

Theres not a car on the planet in the same catagory as an s2000!
