Cover recommendations
I just bought my S2000 this weekend. Rocks (nuff said).
Here is my problem I don't have covered parking and the parking in front of my house is under a lot of pine trees. The squirrels in these trees eat the pine cones and spit out huge gobs of sap ( I'm not making this up my wifes car is covered with these things). Obviously I don't want to mess up the paint. I was planning on getting the honda cover but that one is not water proof. Does it matter? It does rain quite a bit here in SC. Do you guys have any recs/ideas.
Thanks
M

i have the oem one, works pretty good, its not 100% water proof, it may let maybe 10% in. It fits so well, and the under fabric is extremely soft. I didnt drive my S for 4 weeks, and it rains here everyday, when i pulled the cover off, the car was still pretty damn clean...
Thanks. I am sorta leaning toward the honda one beacause of the fit. I have had the generic covers for other cars and although they are waterproof water collects in the folds so when you take off the cover your car gets wet anyway.
I'm worried that the sap may be able to go through the stock cover

PS I like the way my google ads are all about pine cones.

I have the "stormweave" style. It's a car cover that basically says "**** you" to most common contaminants of your car's paint.
