Ls Vtec all motor , what will my compression be

have a b18b block with 10:1 JE pistons with a b16 head with a mugen head gasket, Need a ball park figure of what my compression should be?

your comp will be not enough!!!!!!
thats a boosted set up....might as well be stock, piston need to go out!
not worth what your thinking jsut keep the C5

I think that you are forgetting about the B16 head will raise the compression also....I am thinking that with the pitons being 10:1 and the head gasket change and the head will bring it to atleast 11:1.....

a stock LsVtec with a 2 layer headgasket will make it 9:75 comp....
so i know it will not break above a 10:5.......

if your pistons are 10:1 with an ls head then it would be like 10.7:1 with a b16 head and a 2 layer headgasket...just check out on c-speed if you don't believe me..to get 10:1 with a ls head you would need a 2cc domed piston after you get that just change the head configuration along with the gasket and bam 10.7:1

what if he were to get like 12.5:1 pistons what would that do for him. i ask because i am currently building and ls/vtec and any info is good.
