Remove camshafts then reinstalled and didn't use assembly lube... Would it cause bad idle?

Default Remove camshafts then reinstalled and didn't use assembly lube... Would it cause bad idle?

I just removed my camshafts and when i reinstalled it i didn't use assembly lube. Would that cause my car to idle bad?

It could if the lack of lubrication on initial startup caused the bearing journals to gall.

did u make sure the cam gears are lined up correctly?

both timing marks are at TDC...

is the white mark on the crank pully lined up with the dash on the plastic trim?

ive had cars not start, not idle etc. cause of improper valve clearence .

timing mark on the timing belt cover lines up to with crank pulley...

I have crower 402s and did valve adjustments to crower 402 specs which is .006 int. hot and .008 exh. hot... still bad idle...

Hmm, I think that is a big cam, so no matter what you do, you are still going to get a bad idle.
