IS a B16a oil pan the Same as a LS oil pan???

The gsr oil pan is different. The Ls, and the b16 are the same. If they arent the same they are very close, and either will work. The GSR oil pans are lower becuase they need to clear the factory block girdle and oil pickup. The b16's and ls's dont have the block girdle. So they are a little shallower.

For example. I built an ls vtec and i used my b16 oil pan, so i know it will work. But i did have to bang it out with a hammer so that it would clear the z-10 girdle and the pickup. (this wouldnt be necessary for reg. applications)
