dang; I'd like to know also!

I'd recommend that you capture that photo and send it to Brian Gillespie at Hasport.

Then post the answer here.

(I was thinking of making up my own and have them go out to the side, not down)

I'm not 100% sure on the ones in the pics, theyre not too clear but my moms 93 Accord LX has curved radius rods. The motors in those cars sit at quite an angle and the tranny would be in the way. Not 100% sure again but I do know they are curved.

Edit : He does say "older accord" so it depends on his opinion of "older"

It must be from a Accord earlier than '90 because my 4th gen Accord looks nothing like that.

Earlier than 90 would make it a 1st gen. I think it those are off a 2nd gen 90-93. 3rd gen would be 94-97 and 4th gen would be 98-02

there was a body style before the flip up lights so the 90-93 is not the 2nd gen

90~93 is 4th gen, 94~97 is 5th gen, 98~02 is 6th gen Must be earlier than '90, my 4th gen looks different.

I'm almost positive it's the 3rd gen rods.

My friend drives a 3rd gen daily. I'll have him come over and I'll take a look.

Okay, just checked. It's definitely NOT the 3rd gen Accord.

If it's not from a 4th gen Accord, then WTF could it be from?

They said 'old' Accord...could it be a 2nd gen!?

It is in fact the 90-93 Accord radius rods.

I checked at the junkyard today.

Whoever posted in here and said they have a 90-93 Accord and their radius rods aren't like that may want to look again

Yeah and on top of that HASport was installing them!!!!!

haha HASport putting in Place Racing weld-in mounts for a EF b-series swap..... kinda ironic looking back on it..

that install looked kinda like a bit of a nightmare ... LS ecu with a MSD RPM activated switch... Uhmm... yeah...... Can you say.. OLD SKOOL?

I still want to know where those radius rods came from.. the 90-93 ones look like they will work but they don't match the ones in that article...

They're the 90-93 Accord. How don't they 'match' the ones in the article?

I've seen them myself...they look exactly like the article.

I've been looking in some old threads and people are saying 89/90 rods.

My friend has an '89 and his rods aren't curved, and the one I saw in a junkyard that were curved was a '92 I believe.

Maybe it's just me.. or the illustration itself... but I think they look a bit different.

I trust your actual hands-on inspection of them more than my comparison of the low res parts diagram with those pics only showing part of the arm. I guess I'll go to a junkyard and look for some 90-93 rods.. or step up to the plate and buy the Full-Race bars.

I'll take pics of the junkyard car I saw the bars on sometime this weekend.

well. i did the swap. my fluidampr pulley now clears my radius rod. used a 92 accord radius rod.

it required some serious shortening and grinding away to create more length of machined "rod" end that goes in the xmember (so that it matches the length of the stock radius rod). the inner bolt hole on the control arm end also had to be enlarged a little bit to get it to line up.

i can post some pics...if anyone actually wants to see.. the digicam batteries were dieing so some of the in-progress shots didn't get saved

but anyways... The accord radius rod works but you have to mod it quite a bit.

if you want to use a fluidampr race pulley you need this or something like a full-race bar.
