So i leave work and pull up to this stop light and this sentra does his **** so i punch at the light. i dont know why i did this. im usually not the one to race on the street but anyways...so i led off at 3 gear and as soon as i do...red white and blue lights are in my mirror!!! eekk!!! the other driver races off. i get the hammer....well he gets me for
1. uneccesary loud exhaust (is there a way to void that one?)
2. no proof of insurance
3. not stoping at a stop sign exiting a private drive.

but the thing is, the cop dated the ticket for the 9th! and the shitty part is that last night i lost the dam ticket!!! what do i do?

 

The only thing that you really can do is call the police deptartment and tell them that you lost the ticket.

 

You can fight the exhaust one, the no proof of insurance bring in the proof of insurance at courts showing that you did have insurance at that time and still do-this is if you actually do have insurance, the other one Im not sure about.

this is in the wrong forum...anyways though, contact the local courthouse about the ticket that you lost as they are the ones who handle traffic tickets.

For your exhaust just change it back and get it written off well atleast thats how CA is. I swapped mine back to stock and got it wrtiten off and paid only $10.

 

but the ticket was dated for 9/9/04. thats next thursday. wont the ticket get dismissed since the cop is lying about the whole thing?

 

Wait, so how exactly did he pop you for street racing? Sounds like you just got hit for a stupid traffic violation, then he found ways to rack it up. The exhaust ticket can be fought, and you can bring the proof of insurance to the clerk at court and have that removed if you can prove that you have it.

 

well check it out. i was at a light some other guy reved..we launched at the light and then when i let off the gas the cop got me.

 

dude you are lucky. he could of put your *** in for overnighter and get your car impounded. the only ticket you might have a hard time getting out of is the stop sign.

1 first go to the county clerks office in the city you got the ticket in and they will give you a copy.
2. put back an oem style muffler. if you cant your screwed. then get it signed off at a check facility run by your county&gt;&gt; ask the clerk about locations.

3. no proof of insurance? as long as you do have insurance at the time just no card to show your fine just bring the card with you when you see the judge.
4. and your going to get nailed for running the stop sign. unless you never did this and you have it on video. your word and your witnesses mean **** in court as opposed to the officers word.

and the court dates on the ticket are the off days.&gt;&gt; officers get over time for court dates and are set on their weekends.&lt;&lt;&lt; now you know the other reason why they love writing tickets&gt;&gt; ITS OVER TIME PAY!

yea go on tuesday.. remember monday is a holiday so dont **** up and go monday morning....

go tuesday at around 7am that way your first in line to get in and out .... unless you want to be there all afternoon.

 

if u call today or before the 9th and get the ticket, wouldnt you be able to show that the ticket is dated wrong and get it thrown out considering it couldnt have happened yet unless the cop has psychic powers?

well fight the decibel ticket and have them test it, if they miss dated the ticket then just fight it and you will win because if they **** up you are good to go, if you play your cards right you will get away with it other than the insurance so pull your card out of your *** and show it to them

Thats not caught for street racing. Isnt streetracing more sevre like impounded car, thousands of dollar fine, and revoking licence? You just got caught for traffic violations.
