Best Upgrade for $500 to my 93 lude?
don't want to go the nitrous route
Plus winter is coming so I think it might be best to hold off on the intake...we get a lot of snow here

My first question is, what item on your car looks like it will need replacement first.
For a 93, I am sure your exhaust, shocks, or tires might need replacement. I would mod your car that way.
That's what I did. I researched my mods ahead of time based on what looked like it needed replacement first. My exhaust literally fell off so I researched that. Then I researched tires, brakes, cat., suspension. Once all of these were done, I opted to do the H22 swap because my H23 needed too much routine maintenance (timing belt, water pump, axle boots, and leaking downpipe).
Just an idea.

I couldn't agree more, take the advice of people who have been through the hassle, don't just slap mods on your car without knowing what it really needs first. Get the car running and performing up to spec, then worry about mods, otherwise, you'll find that everytime you modify something, something else needs fixing.
