tdc sensor?

i just did a dohc zc swap into a 91 crx si. everything went well but it came time to start it and it wont start. it turns over and when i give it gas is sounds like it wasnts to start. its giving code 8 for top dead center sensor? anyone have any clue what could be wrong?

its a distributor i got the with dohc zc swap.. also i double checked the timing and its not off.. but the timing belt keeps sliding off of the cams and the crank, not completely off just about half way off..

The ZC dizzy has a 5pin connector, your D16A6 dizzy had a 7 pin. Did you remove the correct 2 wires and run them to the crank angle sensor on the ZC's exhaust cam?

That's just not right
Did you reset the manual tensioner correctly after setting timing?
The ZC dizzy has a 5pin connector, your D16A6 dizzy had a 7 pin. Did you remove the correct 2 wires and run them to the crank angle sensor on the ZC's exhaust cam?
