Default 01 Accord Coupe - T/Belt and Water Pump Replacement???

How many miles/kilometers should I wait until I replace my timing belt? Also I've been told that when your getting the the belts replaced might as well do the water pump as well - is this correct?

Thanks...

I beleive it should be done at about 60000 miles.
i would not replace the water pump unless it needed doing.

I've actually heard it's best to replace the timing belt and water pump at the same time.

yes, because the water pump and gasket is dirt cheap but the labor is mad expensive, if you gonna take out the belt when you doing the timing belt, swap out the old, beat up water pump while you at it, you'll save on labor

Nothing pisses a customer off more than paying for a water pump, 6 months after the timing belt was replaced.

Is this a 6-cyl or 4-cyl? They have slightly different recommended intervals.

If you need OEM parts, let me know. I should have everything in stock.

Thanks for the notice...

I have 2 cars I'm looking at:
1) 01 accord coupe 4cyl. 5spd.
and
2) 96 civic hatchback auto.

just curious to know the OEM parts cost for both T/belt and water pump on both vehicles...thanks.
