codes???
ok i know how to read the flashing light when my crx was stock but i did a obd1 ecu swap and put in a d16z6 wont turn over check engine light comes on now how do i check for codes with the p28 ecu on a dx crx with a d16 in it

I'm not sure how you converted to OBD-1, but if you did the wiring yourself and did it correctly OR if you got a quality jumper harness then it's really easy.
You just put a jumper (paperclip) in the 2 prong connector under the glovebox.
It's the same connnector you put a jumper in when you go to set the ignition timing.
Search Yahoo! for HONDA ECU CODES and you should find MANY links to what the codes mean.

on my harness there is a wire running from the jumper which can hook a toggle switch up to, ground the toggle switch and when you have a cel you switch on the toggle switch (ground it) and it will show you the code. that would be the same thing as jumping it with a paper clip but instead of using a paper clip you are using a toggle switch.
