Default vafc tuning....help plz!

hello ppl
i need some help with vafc tuning. I dont have a dyno available to me and so i need to do it manually. Anyone running the same car as me, can you send me yer settings so i can it least run the vafc to some extent.
ryte now wen i turn the vtec engagement point at 4500 n 3800 the engine clogs wen the rpm is high. and the rpm goes up with some difficulty. i belive the air and fuel ratios are not clicking.

im running a civic 96 D16Y (SOHC Vtec) and got cold air intake, exhaust, plugs, plug wirings.

any input would be appreciated.
thnkyou

That's way too low to engage VTEC. I don't mean to sound trite, but you absolutely need to go to a dyno for AFC tuning. Either that or you can do it on the street with a WBO2 and the proper hardware to monitor your a/f. What you'll be doing without these is guessing on how to set it up, and that won't get you anywhere. Return VTEC x-over to the OEM setting and set all fuel points to 0% if you've changed them. Don't shoot in the dark when tuning your motor.

Even if you got someone elses settings, it wont be the same. All engines are different.

IMO your not making enough power with those minor bolt-ins to justify tuning that pretty-well stock D-series motor. Justleave the OEM settings be if you dont have access to a wideband.

True. If you can't get to a dyno don't use it at all. Your probally doing more damage to your performance than anything.

you cant really do anything with your butt dyno. if you only have i/h/e, a v-afc won't do much, if anything at all, for you
