a DIYS to install coilovers?
yo guys I need your help...
After finally putting a si tranny in my friends house yesterday in hes LS motor civic.. we now need to install the coilovers today..
any Do it your self threads on how to install them??
any help would be great... I sorta have an idea on how to install them... but i'm no xpert yet

if you could do a tranny swap you can do the coilovers, its pretty basic, im assuming its for an EK.... look at where the shocks attach and try to remove them, in the front there are 2 nuts on top holding the shock to the body, a bolt under holding the shock to the fork, and a bolt/but holding the fork to the control arm.
on the rear there are the same two nuts on top, and a bolt on the bottom for the lca.... but you may also want to remove the extra bolt freeing the LCA from the rear brake setup.
AFter the shocks are dropped out, install the new coilovers into where the old shocks are. If you guys are going with coil sleeves, remove the top hat from the stock shock with a 14mm wrench and a 3/16 allen key(be careful it'll pop open) then put it on the new shock, or reassemble stock shock with coil sleeve
and reassemble it backwards.
