Default Car randomly dying?

Ok this afternoon, I was driving about at around 80kph and when I put my foot down a little the car seems like it was misfiring or hesitating. Thought it was just the normal airconditioning parasitic power loss you expeience when you have it on so I turned it off. The car kept on missing and as I came up to the lights I put my clutch in and the car just turned off. So I sat at the lights and just fired it back up without any problems . Then it ran fine, with no missing or anything. 2 minutes down the road it does the same thing and again at a set of lights my car just died again. Started died since. This happened once at night a couple of weeks ago. But yeah its happened a total of 3 times but it is quite random.

Does anyone know what problem i might have? The car is an JDM EG9 with B16a.

Cheers

you might want to check you all your plug wire and seated properly, grounds is in good condition and tight. also check your main relay.

Plug wire are all tight. (NGK Blues) I've had new OEM NGK plugs in for a month as well. Don't think its the main relay because the car starts straight after it dies and runs ith no problems whatsover. It's only happened a total of 3 times once during a cold night and twice yesterday afternoon.

I've done a search and a few people have had this problem but there is not really a definate fix.

Help please.

I have no idea, but if it was the fuel filter would it do it more often and wouldn't it struggle to rev? Straight after it stalls I can start her up no problem and it drives like normal.

Distributor cap points and rotor seem ok. Could it be the ignitor? How to I check/test the condition of it? Havent driven my car today so I cant tell you if its happening again.

Check all of your Engine grounds. my Hatch did the same thing and it was the thermostat housing ground. all grounds looked to be ok and that one ground just needed a 3/4 of a turn and it was all good after that

Where are all the grounding points? Does the Helms manual or Haynes manual show them? I downloaded one of them....
