Default Hard much downtime to stroke b16b?

How long would it take to stroke a b16b and can it be done in a weekend? I know you can use a gsr crank and so forth but I was thinking of steering towards a spoon
stroker being that its fairly cheap, and would I have to buy new bearings like itr or gsr. thanks

Im considering doing this to mine as well...(ITR bottom end in a B16B)
Is the engine already out of the car?
If not, itll definitely take longer to rebuild the bottom end...
If it is,and you have ALL the correct bearings and take the time to measure ALL the clearances, endplay, etc. with ALL the correct tools.I dont see why it could not be done in a weekend....
But Id be more concerned with taking my time and measuring everything at least twice and thoroughly cleaning the block and all internals before assembly.

Why not just use an ITR/GSR crank and rods? You should be able to find them pretty cheap and put in some OEM pistons or re-use the CTR pistons.Cheaper than the Spoon Stroker kit.You could also do an LS crank/bottom end. That should yield even a bit more power. Whatever you do,you will most likely need to buy new bearings since I doubt the ones in your engine now will be the same clearances..
Good luck

The engine is still in the car. Would I have to buy itr bearings for the crank? Only reason I ask is becuasethe ctr crank seems to be the oddball crank of the B-series.
