its on limp mode, u have something wrong in wiring or jumper, once u get that problem solved that will go away, but u need to figure out whats wrong....yuo should be throwing CEL's when ur on limp mode...so check for that...if you cant check them....ur going to have a fun time....

Check your timing. I had the same problem you are describing and wound up bending a valve. I repeat check you timing. If you are off a tooth then your car will only rev to 3500.

Come on... atleast read the post's. I am not a expert on these swaps but I just read a post a while back that you were sopposed to run 2 wires to the crank angle sensor. Maybe from the Dizzy?

Yuup... from what I understand: the stock Dizzy has that sensor in it. But with your hybrid... maybe that sensor is somewhere else...
Again, dont quote me on this... but I would try searching.

did you ever figure out why your car didn't rev more that 3500? i am having the same problem, and i can't figure out what to do, i have tried everything i can think of so any helpful advice would be much appreciated.
no its still doing it i e-mailed locash and they said my dizzy was wired wrong ??? well i hope so cause i tried like every combination they said go to the junk yard and get a hf or si harness side 7 wire plug for the dizzy and use the adapter they gave me to plug it into the obd1 dizzy
