ITB's can be a wonderful upgrade to an engine if done correctly. May I stress that if you don't know what you're doing, then please stay away from them. The last ITB'd car I dealt with ran fine with a stock engine for 5 months before we took them off and sold the car, but we really know what we're doing. In this case, I have to recommend you not get them, if you need to ask, then you probably don't need them. And if you decide that you do want to run ITB's, look at Jenvey's setups rather than Toda's.

Also, why in the name of God are you running VTK's? If you're doing anything less than full road racing preparation, then they're really unnecessary (and in more road race cars, they're still not used anyway).

ITB's make alot of power where it's not often used in a street car hopefully not ever actually usually in the 8-10K powerband is where they show the most gain

I would recommend that if your at the level to be asking these kind of questions you will find it a waste of money and not be happy

IMO the TWM's are a better design for less though not as bling

Of the ITB set ups I've seen, the J's Racing or A-spec kits seem to be a little better for a car that see's any street time, as the injector placement is similar to stock, which aids in driveability.

I ran the TWM ITB's about four/five years ago on my engine and had nothing but problems. High idle rpm, trouble keeping the butterflies in sync, and NOBODY wanted to tune them even though I had ACCEL DFI for engine mgmt. I didn't have enough internal work done to the motor for these to work properly and at the time there was only one other person on the east coast that I knew of that was running ITB's (Mark Brauning and I think he was using Kinsler? or something like that). I had it at DRT and eventually Turbo People for tuning. Great tuners but my main problem was NOT ENOUGH work done. ITB's make great HP if used properly. Plus you had to change the oil like every 500 miles because it would get so dirty so fast with no filter! I only put down like 180whp and ran low 13's. I now run the Skunk2 manifold with a Holley 68mm TB and have run 12.70's @ 103-105mph. More internal work though now.
