Default WTB 88+ CRX SoCal

Im looking for a CHEAP CRX, to fix up. I would prefer the car stock. Of course prefer SI, or HF, but DX will do. In good condition, running, no accidents. I live near Six Flags.

There's an entire forum dedicated to the buying/selling of cars. Point your mouse in that direction on the main page. - Darrell

Use the recycler web site and check it every day! Stuff shows up on the web site prior to being printed in the recycler newspaper.

Keep cash on hand and plan on driving to see a bunch of cars that are advertised as "in good condition".

This is what I did and there is a lot of trash out there. I ended up buying my Hatchback out of Santa Barbara and got it before it was "listed" in the paper. (I live in the San Fernando Valley and lucked out due to having friends in Santa Barbara that could go by and look at it for me, saving the drive to see what could have been junk)

yeah I have looked in the classifieds.

Also I have been doing exaclty what your talking about wes, I just drove abou 400 miles total to look at 3 CRX's only one was semi nice cond, but he still wanted to much for it. Ive pretty much called everyone from the recycler that had what interests me. also a good place is Craigslist.com I found a few good looking CRX's and with pictures! except that they are about 300 miles away.....I dunno I might still go.

Topic still stands, if anyones got a good one for sale let me know

I know what you mean. I picked up mine about a month ago. Out of 8 CRX's about 1/2 were primered black (don't Honda owners take care of their ****?) and the rest needed paint/bodywork. Ironically, the one CRX that was clean had been tboned, had a salvage title and was being sold as-is. There was a somewhat clean 89 Si in the valley for $1500 but it may have sold by now. Keep on searching man.
