are u "in the know". cause someones got to know what happened in that cam test yet no one is talkin about it anymore. i mean if the damn motor blew up just say, the motor failed durin the test. but no one has mentioned what actually happened.

Looks like they were able to get a set of pre-production Buddy Club Spec IV's in there.

Sorry Kteller, did I beat you to it?

1 - I heard the cam test was never finished do to motor failure ------

2 - I heard the deadline on the engine test was friday but..............someone got the dyno number's from the other motor's and got more time to complete their motor.

Just what I was told can't say it's ture for sure.

On the cam test, one of the cams snapped. I know which one broke but I won't say. I would assume that hurt the motor and ruined the test.

As to the engine shoot out, the RS build was never started. Gary Castillo picked up the block (not the crank, it disappeared) at RS and took it to Benson just to do the machine work only. Gary then went on to finish the motor. Not sure if all the dynos are complete yet. Each team gets one day on the dyno for tuning, I believe.

It was most likely an out-of -pocket expense for the people doing the testing and in all likelihood they did some significant damage to the test engine when the cam snapped and your pissed because nobody told you?

Don't get me wrong, I am not one that thrives on people not following through with promises and it would have been nice for someone to let us in on what is happening but I think you've taken this a little to personally. It's not like your life depended on this test................right?

what part of announcing that the motor took a **** cause a cam broke didnt u understand??? as i said, all they had to do was say it, no biggie. its been weeks now and some damn good info could have been posted by this time.
but for some god for saken reason no one can come up front and say "yeah we broke one of the cams, it took out the rest of the motor". how hard is that?
hell i could give a **** less that hte motor took a ****. they can still post up the info they had on the cams that they did test, unless it was the first set of course. put em in a different motor.

Um i'm gonna assume you all agree with me when i say i think they don't wanna disclose the cam manufacturer so to keep their reputation intact.

Don't necessarily agree. Could be they don't want to admit to installer error

i dont agree at all....... the point of the test was to show the readers different cams on the market right???? i think they are obligated to say what really happened . in this case , mis information is no information.
