I'd say, of the ones you listed, that the Greddy would be a better investment than the DC. Although, if you had the money, I would recommend the Comptech 4-2-1 over the Greddy.

Don't buy a USDM header if you have the patience. The gains will most likely be minimal. Just save up and buy a "REAL" header like a Hytech, Toda, Spoon, Mugen preferrably with a 2.5" collector. Sure they are expensive, but you'll be gaining massive HP and you get quality pieces. The other option, what I've done is get a JDM ITR 4-1 Header with a high flow (required) 2.5" cat, great power gains, not too pricey either. There are always people selling them used, but I would say save up the money and buy a good header and I know most people will back me up on this. Good luck either way!

I'd get one, but until you get major mods, all I think a JDM 4-1 header will do is loose some bottom end torque and make the car accelerate sluggishly off the line. Without some good mods, GSR or not, I think the 4-2-1 would be more gratifying for street use (fast take-offs) if you're not huge into the track scene. Any constructive comments on this one ???

I have a DC sports ceramic 4-1. I'm gonna get rid of this piece of crap and get me a JDM 4-1 ss and cat. DC sports cuts too many corners with it's integra headers.

Didn't Sport Compact Car do a head-to-head compairison of headers for the GSR? I thought the DC header came out on top.

Maybe by 1 horsepower, but the welds are crap. Get Greddy for quality.

Maybe I'lll get the JDM header 4-1. My DC 4-1 ceramic will do for the mean time.
