Why do the 9005 bulbs pictured have a capped end and a lower wattage (55) than standard? 9006 low beams should be 55 watts with a capped end, 9005 high beams should be not capped and 65 watts. It seems like they're just low beam bulbs, which would not work very well as high beams.

 

Just ordered a pair of the violet set. Hope it's street legal.

Is there any reason why nobody makes a yellow 9005 bulb?

 

Any H4H bulbs (jdm bulbs)?

It looks like Luminics doesn't make any 9005 bulbs. They're all 9006 wattage with the end cap. A 9005 should be 65 watts and not have the end cap.

If all you cared about is color and not brightness, then 9006 and 9005 are interchangable, you just need pliers to remove the inner prongs and a file to cut the top outer tab (I used a small hack saw). I currently have 9005 bulbs in my 9006 low beam projectors.

We are out of the JDM Gold bulbs until Mid to end of October

LuminicsBulbs.com makes 9005 bulbs but we sold out alot faster then we thought we would so those will be in shortly as well.

Any pictures to showoff the colours and beam pattern for the H1 in white and violet?

 

Im sorry at this time we do not have any pictures to show off the colors of the Ultra White or the Ultra Violet.

The UltraViolet is a white with a Purple Tint to it and the UltraWhite is a white with a Blue tint to it.

The only picture I can find is of the JDM Yellow and we are currently SOLD OUT of these bulbs.
