What do i NEED to do/get to rebuild my b18a1
EDIT: First, before you read on....what makes you think you need to rebuild it? If there's nothing wrong with it, there's no need to go through all that money and work....ESPECIALLY if you're just rebuilding it with stock parts (for such an old motor).
It depends on what you want to rebuild it with. It's a pretty vague question, but I'll try to help.
Not counting getting any aftermarket parts and assuming you're going to use what old parts you can (i.e.: pistons, rods, etc)....
You will need all new bearings, and a gasket kit (Honda sells these, or you can go aftermarket). You will need to get new rings and quite possibly rehone your cylinders. A new water/oil pump would probably be wise since you're in there.
Those are the basics. Are you rebuilding the head too? Very rarely does that need to be rebuilt. Nothing usually goes wrong with a head, unless there was physical damage done to it.

eh, with hondas the valve guides / seals do tend to go when you get in the higher milage.
It wouldn't be a bad idea to do those as well while you have the whole thing apart.
But I agree with the bottom end, usually its bearings, thrust washers, rings, and a hone.
