i recently got a KILLER deal on some skunk2 retainers and was planning matching them up with skunk2 springs, but am wondering if this will be an overkill for stage 1 cams. The application will be a basic 11:1 forged bottom end for use w/ a large shot of nitrous.

so my questions are:

is the skunk2 spring/Ti retainer combo an overkill for my application, or should i sell the retainers, make a little profet, and go with ITR stuff?

if i keep the retainers, can i use them with another companie's springs? I know all honda b-series retainers are the same, but not sure about aftermarket.
