Default ls swap

I recently purchased my 91 si in decent condition and I wanted to do a motor swap, I just bought a 94 LS b18b1 from a friend is this a good motor for a starter. Ls have good torque and they can be worked up in so many ways this is why i chose this motor if you have any comments feel free I need to learn more about swaps
