bad axles

Default bad axles

what makes the bad axles to make clicking noises, also what will be the long term effect of using bad axles?

Hey man. Im not sure what causes them to make the clicking noise,but when mine went bad and were clicking...there was pretty much NO grease in the CV joint area.

As far as affects...Like me..you could end up breaking/snapping your axle.

when you get bad axles your boot rips and the grease comes out. Insdie the axles are 4 bearings and it makes them go bad without the grease and thats where the clicking comes into place.

20,000 miles with clicking axles and i was still fine. just replace em when you can.
